The EDP team approached us to curate and deliver EDP X-Change, bringing together a diverse group of participants to discuss key issues around the Just Transition in South Africa. We collaborated with EDP to refine the event’s topics and format. Leveraging our networks and coordinating with EDP, we identified and invited expert speakers on the various subjects and delivered an event with keynotes, thought labs, and cross-sectoral engagement.
On August 29, the event was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Cape Town and brought together 200 participants at the CTICC. Positive feedback from both speakers and attendees underscored the value of fostering a conducive environment for meaningful conversation in a way that is locally grounded and action-orientated.
